I think you’re expecting a level of personal infrastructure for families that just don’t exist. Like it or not, fast food is one of the pillars of our economy. Everyone’s gotta eat, some people gotta eat on the road. Some people don’t even live near grocery stores. We rely on them for food.
I’ve been treated like trash, I’m forced to work in close proximity to my co-workers, I’m forced to be next to customers on a constant basis. I feel like fast food is the one thing that people like doctors, and first responders, and grocery workers have that makes us feel human for once and I appreciate that.
